How do I choose a dumpster size?
Start with the project type, estimated debris volume, and whether materials are dense or bulky. Our size guide explains the basics, and a call lets us account for your site and material.
Where can the container be placed?
A firm, level, accessible area such as a suitable driveway is often preferred. The truck needs clear approach space and overhead clearance. Confirm property, HOA, or local requirements first.
What cannot go in a dumpster?
Do not load paint, chemicals, fuels, batteries, asbestos, medical waste, or other hazardous materials. Appliances, tires, electronics, concrete, soil, and roofing should be disclosed before delivery.
How high can I load it?
Material must remain below the top edge with nothing protruding from the sides. An overfilled or unsafe container cannot be transported.
Do I need to be present for delivery?
Not always, if placement instructions are precise and access is fully clear. Being available by phone helps resolve site questions quickly.
Can I put concrete and household debris together?
Dense materials often require a dedicated load and should not be mixed with general debris. Describe all material before booking.
How should I protect my driveway?
Discuss the surface when ordering. Customers sometimes use appropriate wood boards under contact points, but placement and protection depend on site conditions and do not eliminate all risk.
What if I need the dumpster longer?
Call before the planned end of your rental. Availability and extension charges may apply, so early notice is best.
